HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY KAME!

In honour of our beloved Kamenashi's birthday, I have put together this collection of Kamenashi's Greatest Hits. This is in no way a comprehensive list, and I would love it if you would respond with your favourite Kame stuff - pics, vids, interviews, fics, etc. Let's all give our obsessive devotion some place to go on this most joyous of occasions~

when we were watching this, samenashi looked at her mother and said, “this is the essence of kamenashi kazuya”. then he slowly took off his mask.

this song will forever stand in for everything that is beautiful and pure in the world, or me. in emotional moments i always expect kizuna to start playing.

These are Akame-centric for obvious reasons (ie, I am an insane Akame fan)... sorry, non-Akame fans.

Our Ring by verde_ivy : One of my all-time favourite fics. I read it when I'm feeling grumpy and it lifts my spirits.
The Sun and the Air by meiface : I think this might have been the first Akame fic I ever read. It was up there, at the very least. Reading it makes me feel wistful and nostalgic.
Available Light by shontos_garden : Known colloquially amongst my friends as 'acid burns fic', makes me want to sob and send Kame appreciative fanmail.
Thumbenashi by neurochip : TINY KAME!!!!!!!
There's No Place For Make Believe by sollasollew11 : Devastating MPREG. Never thought I'd have to type those words.
Perfect Moments by lilmatchgirl007 : I love any fic where Kame is an artist or a photographer.
Transfiguration for Dummies by sollasollew11 : JE vs HP. I love the sequel to this, PLEASE FINISH IT SOLLA.
Miscommunication by yamapea : Gen-ish Pikame, which is the best kind of Pikame.
The Lines We Travel by acchikocchi : Akame fic spanning almost a decade. I love angsty fic that includes chibis.

Kame getting thoroughly embarrassed by Kimura. And the piggyback ride of cuteness! I love Kame getting on well with senpais and find it fascinating at the same time. As things Kame are.

Also, Kame getting people to feel him up on nearly every single show he went on when he started developing muscles for the boxer drama. Never gets old. Only I don't have an appropriate clip at hand.

I love Kame's acting. I love that he has a concept for his characters and a whole different body language for each one. I love that he got me scared of a seveteen-year-old high school girl, just by how scared Shuuji was of her.

And a host of other things, but they are sort of not fluffy enough to put in a birthday post. :-)

Yes. ♥ Kame making friends with older people seems so logical somehow... But! that reminded me of Fukuyama Masaharu Kame's other senpai in life and this other (http://gummy-bear05.livejournal.com/42518.html) greatest hit he made possible. Kame dealing with embarrassing questions, always relevant. :D

Thank you so much for this. As I see your username and as you ask for which fanfic I adore, I have to immediately think of Seachange. Though it made me cry madly at 2AM, though it made me watch One Drop PV making and cry to see Kame-chan was laughing, talking, walking happily, I still love it to the core. I read all of your Akame fanfics, I wish that you will write about them more in the future. Angst like Seachange, cute like Soft Skin Boy, bright and innocent like Child Star and On Christmas.
