In honour of our beloved Kamenashi's birthday, I have put together this collection of Kamenashi's Greatest Hits. This is in no way a comprehensive list, and I would love it if you would respond with your favourite Kame stuff - pics, vids, interviews, fics, etc. Let's all give our obsessive devotion some place to go on this most joyous of occasions~

These are Akame-centric for obvious reasons (ie, I am an insane Akame fan)... sorry, non-Akame fans.

Our Ring by verde_ivy : One of my all-time favourite fics. I read it when I'm feeling grumpy and it lifts my spirits.
The Sun and the Air by meiface : I think this might have been the first Akame fic I ever read. It was up there, at the very least. Reading it makes me feel wistful and nostalgic.
Available Light by shontos_garden : Known colloquially amongst my friends as 'acid burns fic', makes me want to sob and send Kame appreciative fanmail.
Thumbenashi by neurochip : TINY KAME!!!!!!!
There's No Place For Make Believe by sollasollew11 : Devastating MPREG. Never thought I'd have to type those words.
Perfect Moments by lilmatchgirl007 : I love any fic where Kame is an artist or a photographer.

Miscommunication by yamapea : Gen-ish Pikame, which is the best kind of Pikame.

Eeee thank you for the link! That radio show is golden. (But they sure pulled out the really mean letters for Kame, poor guy. He doesn't sound like he's going to develop a nipple complex now, but some of that... mean. At least Kame had good answers and occasionally bitched right back.)

This guy's name actually wasn't on my radar as someone Kame has much to do with, but I'm not surprised anyway. He seems to make friends with older people easily; not just that he likes them, they find him interesting too. Somehow I always think Kame is giving off prodigy vibes, and older people respond to that. (Which is weird, technically I don't think he is one.)

No problem! It's possibly one of my favourite "interviews" with Kame ever. I think lately Kame's gotten really good at blankfacing at a lot of stuff that people throw at him. XD

I'm not sure why there was so much of the two of them together for a while in the press, but they seemed like a cool pair. And I agree. :) Though it's not so much prodigy vibes for me (though I get what you mean and I see how that could be) as it is... plainly that Kame has really good people skills, and beyond his many eccentricities I usually feel that a big chunk of his personality can be better in tune with older people than people his age, if that makes sense? So maybe it's easy for older people to get along with him for that, not only because he's totally charming and impressive I know, I know, I'm biased XD .

sdjfs this is so serious business, sorry. :'D I feel like I should add a gif of Kame's retarded laughter to compensate.

He's still pretty good at treating the crazy in a very professional manner, but I do think he seems much more confident and less of a stressbunny about OMG THE RIGHT ANSWER these days.

That's a very interesting point, about people skills and being in tune with older people. Do you think he has them with everybody? Cause I do think he is quite good at managing people and being all leader-like, but in a way that doesn't work for everybody. (As when he gets punched in the nose.)

I may be going off on a tangent here and end up saying the opposite of what you mean... but I wonder if some of it is also that when Kame hangs with older people, they don't need people skills or handling? Like, when he's with someone where he really doesn't feel compelled to manage them or make sure they eat their veggies, that could actually be quite relaxing for him.

Yeah, um, sorry for the serious biznes hijacking, soundczech!
