soundczechficAs usual, I might get bored and not complete these. I always do it on a whim and then run out of steam and I'm not that good with like, responsibility.
I'm only opening to Prince of Tennis, Loveless, Nana and Veronica Mars drabbles. Or original, I guess, with prompt words. And maybe Tenimyu RPS, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to write all actors. I will do my best :( Request away.

Date: 2006-04-19 11:23 am (UTC)In summer sometimes Dick and Cassidy won't move for days, lying by the pool with comic books and rock music, making the butler go out and get them slurpees. By the time he's twelve Cassidy doesn't read comic books anymore, instead he has thick boring novels with names that Dick can't remember. Dick gets annoyed when Beaver ignores him so he throws the books in the pool and holds Beaver back until the pages get heavy and dip beneath the surface of the water. By the time he's fourteen Beaver doesn't read anymore, but he doesn't really talk to Dick either. That's okay though because Dick talks and Beaver just has to listen and let Dick punch him when he's mad.

Date: 2006-04-19 11:38 am (UTC)Dick makes Beaver do his homework when he bothers about it at all. He comes home with his textbook and slams it on Beaver's desk and squeezes his baby brother's ears between sharp fingernails until he complies. He lies on Beaver's bed and twists a Rubix cube while he works. Sometimes Beaver will start trying to explain things to him, the fall of Rome or why human beings need oxygen, but Dick just stares at him blankly until he shuts up. Sometimes he'll fall asleep to the sound of Beaver's fast scratching pen and when he wakes up it'll be dark and Beaver will be asleep on the couch, Dick's homework in a neat perfect pile on the desk.
